The Essington School Darwin prides itself on delivering unique learning experiences for students and developing skills that prepare them for the future. Over the last decade The Essington School Darwin has evolved from delivering a radio broadcasting program on community radio into a multi-award winning media program encompassing radio, television, short film and animation.

Students in Year 7, 8 and 9 learn how to use green screen technology, video cameras, digital SLR cameras, microphones, radio broadcasting equipment and a range of Adobe Production software to complete their media works.

Students develop important employability skills including communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative and enterprise, planning and organising, self-management, learning and technology.

We are pleased to present a sample of the school's work here on this website.
