My love of ballet and all things dance started as a young girl in Hervey Bay, Queensland. After completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science, I was un-expectantly thrown into my first dance teaching role as part of my employment as an Exercise Physiologist in Brunei, South-East Asia in 1998.  Here I established a dance school, teaching a range of dance genres and ages.  I commenced employment with The Essington School Darwin in 2007 and am honored to have been part of the development and growth of our amazing Dance Program. From Preschoolers to Senior College students, I relish the opportunity to teach and share my passion for dance. The extension of our program to the wider Darwin community with our Essington International Dance Academy is such an exciting new chapter to be apart of.

I completed my Pilates certificate over 6 years ago through Studio Pilates. My Pilates classes have a strong focus on posture and breathing technique from the outset.  Having taught in a variety of studios and gyms in Darwin and with a broad range of client needs, I provide options (progressions and regressions) for each exercise meaning everyone can participate. Over time, you will feel muscles engage and strengthen, improved posture, and a sense of calm.
